Elba Island

Elba is the largest island in the Tuscan Archipelago and the third largest in Italy (223 km 2). Together with the other islands of the archipelago (Pianosa, Capraia, Montecristo, Gorgona, Giglio and Giannutri) it is part of the National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago

Located between the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian Seas, it has a territory of extreme variety, with heights that exceed one thousand meters. Connected to the mainland by ferries, it is divided into 8 municipalities. Portoferraio is the most important city and the only example of modern architecture.The other towns of the island blend perfectly with the natural environment, unspoiled, with unique suggestions.

It is an island with infinite horizons: golden beaches that caress the crystal clear waters, massive granite immersed in the scrub, stories of peoples always kissed by the sun. Elba gives the feeling of many things in one: beaches and cliffs, wind, land, scents, flavors, hard work of man, small villages climbing mountains, terraces on the sea are just the beginning of an island that never disappoints.
